MAS PARADIS is an elegantly furnished and newly restored authentic 18th century stone mas, located within an easy stroll of the quaint small village of le Paradou, where one can find a bakery, a restaurant, a small grocery store and a post office.

Minutes by foot ( 600 meters) from the small, charming village of Paradou. The Michelin-starred "La Petite France" restaurant and" Bistro du Paradou" can be reached in about 20 minutes by foot. The famous "Oustaù de Beaumanière" restaurant in Les Baux-de-Provence, is a five-minute drive. Paradou is only 10 minutes by car from the village of Saint Remy de Provence (10km), 30 minutes from Avignon (25km) and 45 minutes from Aix en Provence, and the perched villages of le Luberon- Paradou is a fabulous base to explore Provence best sites!

22 miles from Avignon TGV train Station (with TGV/ high-speed train, Avignon is less than 3 hours from Paris)- 30 miles from Marseille Airport.

  • Fully equipped kitchen with a five-burner Lacanche gas cooker, American refrigerator with ice-maker, 2 traditional ovens, microwave, dishwasher, food processors, 2 sets of pots/pans; the kitchen truly is a sanctum of aspiring cordon blues, ready to try their hand at Provencal cuisine! The kitchen opens onto the Plane Tree Courtyard, ideal for early morning breakfasts or brunches.
  • A buffet in the hall between the kitchen and dining room holds a generous and colorful supply of table service and linens. Depending on the weather guests may choose between two dining areas immediately adjacent to the kitchen - the shady courtyard, or an elegant farm table, complemented by upholstered Louis XVI chairs, that is situated in front of an open fireplace. The tables in both dining areas can accommodate up to 10.
  • One Powder room with WC on this floor.
  • Laundry room with washer and dryer.

Second Floor:

The three bedrooms are on the upper level. Each of the three bathrooms is newly renovated, and each has a WC.

  • Bedroom 1- Bright and spacious master bedroom with king-size bed. The adjoining spacious rose colored bathroom has a separate double vanity area and a separate space with a claw foot tub and wide stall shower. + WC
 
  • Bedroom 2 has twin beds (these can be made up as a king-sized bed). The bathroom has a claw-foot porcelain tub and a separate stall shower + WC.
  • Bedroom 3 - The "Provençal Room," decorated in soft beige and cream colors, also has twin beds that can be made up as a king-sized bed. . The ensuite bathroom has a double vanity, tub and large stall shower + WC.

Wireless internet access, air-conditioning in master bedroom only, satellite television with English speaking channels, washer and dryer, dishwasher, stereo system with CD. Complimentary bathrobes.

 

Outdoor Living

The mas sits on an enclosed 2.8 acres of beautiful land which includes eucaplypti, albizia, sisal and yucca. A majestic 120 year-old platane tree welcomes you. It offers its shade to refresh and cool the gravel-covered southern courtyard. This magnificent tree shelters a long, wrought-iron table and turn-of-the-century German guinguette chairs (restored by an antique dealer from Isle-sur-le-Sorge) awaiting its guests for a "lunch in the shade" or a "candle-lit dinner". A lovely Provencal fountain offers melodic counterpoint to the song of the cicadas Enjoy the tranquility of the outdoor dining experience that awaits you.  The pool is tastefully integrated into a beautifully landscaped setting that includes flower gardens, lawns, blackberry bushes and groves of olive and fig trees.

Weekly Rental Rates
